摘 要
医院管理系统是医院现代化的基本条件之一 , 它数据量较大，数据交换频繁，要求数据处理的过程快速、高效、安全、准确，故障恢复的时间间隔要尽可能短。引进计算机参与医院管理 ,对于加强管理的规范化、标准化、提高工作效率、降低运行成本和改善服务质量将起到重要作用。
医院管理系统是典型的管理信息系统(MIS)，其开发主要包括后台数据库的建立和维护以及前端应用程序的开发两个方面。对于前者要求建立起数据一致性和完整性强、数据安全性好的库。而对于后者则要求应用程序功能完备，易使用等特点。
经过分析，我们使用 MICROSOFT公司的 VISUAL BASIC开发工具，利用其提供的各种面向对象的开发工具，尤其是数据窗口这个能方便而简洁操纵数据库的智能化对象，首先在短时间内建立系统应用原型，然后，对初始原型系统进行需求迭代，不断修正和改进，直到形成用户满意的可行系统。
本系统的主要功能包括：药品信息维护、收费项目维护、门诊划价管理、门诊挂号管理、门诊收费管理、药房发药管理以及院长信息查询等几个方面的功能。

Abstract
Hospital Management System modernization of the Hospital one of the basic conditions for its larger volume of data, frequency of data exchange, data processing requirements of the process of rapid, efficient, safe, accurate, fault recovery time interval to as short as possible. introduction of the computer in hospital management, and strengthening the management of standardization, and improve working efficiency, lowering operating costs and improving the quality of service will play an important role.

Regarding the former requirement to establish data consistency and integrity of strong data security for good. As for the latter demanded the application functions, and easy-to-use features.
After analysis, we used the company MICROSOFT VISUAL BASIC development tools, use of the various object-oriented development tools, In particular, the data window is convenient and simple manipulation of the intelligence database objects, First established in a short period of time application system prototype, and then to the initial prototype system needs iteration, constantly revising and improving customer satisfaction until the formation of a viable system.
The main functions of the system include : drug information maintenance, maintenance fees, the price is out-patient management, outpatient registration management, outpatient charges management, pharmacy management and the president of drug information inquiries several functions.
