摘 要
旅游信息管理系统的开发与应用是推动当前旅游业发展的一个重要因素。在具备传统的基本功能基础上，现代旅游信息管理系统要加强为企业经营决策、区域旅游开发决策服务的功能；旅游信息数据库的设计也要以这一功能的实现为目标做出相应调整；在系统的建设过程中要将车辆管理，导游管理纳入其中。本系统采用PowerBuilder 9.0作为开发工具，SQL2000作为后台数据库。
本文根据目前我国众多已投入使用的旅游信息管理系统的现状，就该类系统的功能改进、数据库重新设计及系统建设和运行机制等问题，设计了一些新的功能：导游管理、游客信息管理、线路管理、团队管理、入住酒店管理、车辆管理。这样的设计有助于旅行社更加准确、安全、方便的对旅游相关信息进行管理。使用计算机进行信息控制，不仅提高了工作效率，而且大大提高了其安全性。尤其对于相对比较复杂的信息管理，计算机能够充分发挥它的优越性。
本系统不但能顺利完成旅游信息管理的全部工作，而且具有操作简单，可靠性好，容错能力强，界面友好，易于维护，易于扩充等特点。

Abstract
The exploitation and application of the Tourism Information Management System is the key factor of promoting the development of the current tourism. On the basis of having the traditional basic function, the modern Tourism Information Management System should strengthen the function of operate decision-made for corporation and area tourism exploitation; the design of the tourism information database system also should adjust in order to reach the goal of the function’s success; and in the process of the contribution of the system, we should bring the vehicle management and tourism management into it. Our system applied PowerBuilder 9.0 as exploitation tool, and SQL2000 as background database.
China has plunged a lot into using Tourism Information Management System. According to this situation, this system designs some new function referred to the improvement of such function of the system, the redesign of the database and operation mechanism, such as management guides, visitor information management, line management, team management, occupancy hotel management, vehicle management. This design helps travel agency more accurate, safe, and convenient to management travel-related information. Using the information control of the computer, it not only improves efficiency, but also greatly enhances its security. Especially for relatively complex information management, computer can give full play to its advantage.
The system not only can complete the tourism information management work successfully, it also has the advantage of simple operation, good reliability, good fault-tolerant capability, friendly interface, easy to protect and expand, and some other features.
